Welcome to Sedona Marathon Race Week!
Message from the Race Director & Final Instructions
Are you ready for an amazing week in Sedona, Arizona? We are, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful destination! We hope you are coming a few days early to acclimate and take advantage of all of the fun to be had. Click here for all event details.
To make sure that we stay connected during the week, text “marathon” to 77007, and we will send you periodic texts to keep you in-the-know of what’s happening, when and where.
Race parking is located at the Sedona Cultural Park. However, we strongly encourage taking our Sedona Marathon Shuttle which will be running from 5am-5pm on Race Day. We have four shuttle stops available: 1) Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village 2) Uptown Sedona corner of N. State Route 89A & Apple Rd. We suggest parking at the Sedona municipal parking lot a block and a half away. 3) Sedona Rouge Resort near Safeway on Rodeo Drive 4) The corner of Road Runner Rd and W. State Route 89A. Parking available a block away at Sedona City Hall.
While Friday is our official Packet Pick up day, we are finding that a few of you are absolutely unable to pick up your packet that day. In emergency situations like this, we are providing an opportunity for you to pick up your packet on Saturday also, before the race begins, at the Start/Finish line on Navoti Dr.
Please click here for Final Instructions which outline everything you need to know for registration, timing and scoring.
After the Race, the celebration begins! Join us at 3pm, with Sedona Marathon Awards starting at 4pm: First through third places for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K will be awarded during this event with great prize packages and special medals will be given out to winners of each age category. There will also be prizes for middle finishers, best costume, fastest local and the best aid station.
Finally, please be sure to support our sponsors! Without them, The Sedona Marathon event wouldn’t exist.
We thank you for registering for the Sedona Marathon. See you this week!
Travel Safe,
Jennifer Wesselhoff, Race Director
P.S. Did I mention that the weather forecast for race day is a high of 59 degrees? Beautiful!
